KNIT isn't just about knitting; it's a comprehensive celebration of all yarn-based fashion creation that bridges the gap between age-old craftsmanship and contemporary trends, and showcases the enduring appeal of knitting, crochet, macrame, and weaving in today's world.
The exhibition brings together a rich tapestry of homemade fashion garments, historical fashion illustrations, photographs, and patterns that tell stories of individual expression and evolving trends. We are centring the stories, skills and experience of our local yarn creatives to make this a community driven and interactive experience.
