Radio Hauraki t-shirt & red trousers

Terry Rouse of Larry’s Rebels was given this t-shirt by Radio Hauraki. "We helped them out a bit - taking them food when they headed out to sea and playing in their fundraising concerts." The pirate radio station sold printed t-shirts and other merchandise through their fan club as a source of income. T-shirts were also given as gifts to people who helped them out. The t-shirt printing business was in its infancy in the late 1960s. This t-shirt is labelled 'Luxury by Intragen'. The red trousers were worn by singer Larry Morris. He wore them with a matching jacket and a white frilly shirt. The red jacket and trousers were made by Sue Mann's mother. Sue and Larry later married.
