Organza wedding dress with corded lace overlay

In the 1960s, wedding attire tended to be less formal, drawing on the prevailing street fashion trends for inspiration. This A-line wedding dress was purchased from Farrys Fashions in Dunedin by Anita Mary Flynn for her marriage to Eddie Hailes at St Mary’s Basilica, Invercargill in 1969.
