Day dress with floating panels
This dress was purchased originally by Carol's mother to wear to her wedding in 1965. Emma Knuckey manufactured her designs for a range of retailers including the prestigious department stores such as Smith & Caughey's but also exclusively for top end boutiques like Iris Currie who had their own labels included in the garment.
Loan courtesy of Carol Mosedale.
Slub silk, abstract print habutai silk
The dress has asymmetric floating panels in self fabric lined with printed silk that matches the waist sash.
