Clifton Firth was recognised as a popular and imaginative portrait photographer in Auckland. He was also responsible for producing a huge number of advertising images in his Queen Street studio. This image is one of a series with Hugh Porter, all taken on the same day, in various outfits and poses, perhaps intended for a modelling portfolio.
