Wool dress with self yarn tassels
This Zena Abbott dress belonged to Teresa's mother, Eileen. She continued to wear it on special occasions until she was 90 years old. Eileen wore it to Theresa's first wedding in 1986. A friend who was hosting the wedding in her home was shocked when she saw Eileen's dress. "The friend owned the same dress in the same colour and was under the impression that it was a one-off creation. She was horrified!"
