Wool crochet wedding dress
Peggie Wilson made this wedding dress for Gay Williams (née Phelps) in 1968. The crochet flowers were made by Peggie's mother Blanche Corlett. Peggie sewed them together, added beads and made the petticoat, bodice and the silk net veil. Gay wore it with a mantilla.
