Wendy Nelson black crinkle silk dress with butterfly beading, 2024
This Wendy Nelson dress signifies a return to Wendy designing under her own name, like she used to in the 1980s. This full length sheer, long sleeved dress with V neckline and beaded butterfly appliqués at the shoulders is made from 100% silk georgette with a crinkle texture. It features an empire line, and as a loose tunic style can be worn over a similar length slip or alternatively as a layering piece over separates.
The NZFM photographed this dress at our Popup photography session in October 2024 which was part of our Hui Auaha o Aotearoa Open Day.
