Screen-printed dress with sand wash finish
Sharon Ng collaborated with the artist Ralph Hotere to design this dress called 'Black Window'. Ralph came up with an image of a black window that Sharon used repeatedly on the dress. She screen-printed the image onto the cut out pieces of fabric before sewing it together. The dress was entered into the Avant Garde category of the 1994 Benson & Hedges Fashion Design Awards.
