Evening ensemble in printed fabric

Paramount Frocks designer, Maud Barrell, bought the business from her employers in the 1940s. She renamed it Fascinator Frocks. This evening ensemble includes an interesting detail - the flower of the fabric print is picked out in sequins like a corsage. It belonged to Mollie Rodie Mackenzie but, as an avid collector of fashion, it is unknown whether she wore the ensemble.
