Duk-Duk pleated ruffle dress

This dress by Auckland-based Papua New Guinean designer Andrew (Dru) Douglas is a unique balance of history and modernity. It is part of Dru's first collection under his label, Lumai, where he has re-imagined a garment traditionally worn by women in Papua New Guinea - the meri blouse. It is worn with a pendant by Neil Adcock.
