Cotton velvet evening dress
"This dress was custom fitted at purchase from a size 16 to my size 12 because I just had to have it!" The French Shop in Remuera had a seamstress who could fit and alter garments for their clients. Margaret Hay chose this dress for a Plunket Ball and accessorised the outfit with patent leather sling-backs, an Oroton Glomesh bag and diamante earrings.
