Beige jersey knit day dress

Jenifer Hart remembers having to entertain some important dignatories from the United Kingdom. "We had a formal dinner in a private dining room in the then best Wellington Hotel, the James Cook. I wore my El Jay dress with black patent leather stiletto shoes. On my dress I wore a large gold Lion brooch, which I had inherited from my grandmother, and I felt very elegant." The brooch had been given to her grandmother by one of the visiting Lions Rugby teams in the 1920s.
