Watermelon pink day dress & coat

This suit belonged to Norma Evans who made most of her own clothes until the 1970s when she purchased them new or from op shops. She wore this outfit when she was on Dominion Council of Women’s Division Federated Farmers in the 1970s.  Pink was Norma’s favourite colour She accessorised this outfit pearls, hat, gloves and purse.

The manufacturer Classic Fashions was acquired by Fashions Limited in the 1960s, but they continued to use the Classic label in some garments.
