Shot silk rose dress with gauntlets

Bruce Papas designed this dress when he was working from his home in Titirangi, Auckland. The rose has been made by manipulating the cloth – it has been created totally without cutting or seaming. The puffball skirt’s form is supported with soft wadding. Read more about Bruce Papas in the New Zealand Fashion Museum publication, A Certain Style.
