Layered black dress & jackets

Trips to Japan when the NOM*d label was still in its infancy, were a seminal design inspiration for Margarita Robertson. She admired the utilitarian approach of Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons), Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake, as well as their use of a limited, predominantly black, colour palette. This 'Camouflage' ensemble was from their C'mon collection, A/W 2006.
