Dress with overskirt split at side waist

This dress was made by Society Fashions, an Auckland-based manufacturing firm established by Bill Hall and Maurice Mihotich in 1962. Maurice left Society a year later to establish his own label, Miss Deb. Bill, and his wife Robyn, continued to develop Society, later rebranding the company High Society.
