Double-breasted day dress
Wellington department store Kirkcaldies & Stains was established in 1863 by John Kirkcaldie and Robert Stains. It closed in 2016 after 153 years in business. This dress, labelled Kirkcaldie's Top Twenty, was made in-house and would have been sold alongside garments from other New Zealand designers.
