Block-printed felt cloak

This cloak, labelled Fanny Buss belonged to Whetu Tirikatene-Sullivan, New Zealand’s first Māori woman cabinet minister. Whetu worked with artists and designers such as Fanny Buss to create unique fabrics printed or woven with Māori motifs. The cloak was made by Fanny's daughter Lee Trusttum who worked with her mother and other designers as part of the Fanny Buss collective.
